Guided tours Macasar

DAY 01. MACASSAR - TORAJA
Pick up in Makassar.

From the airport or the port of Makassar, we will go directly to the road to Toraja. We pass through the villages of the Bugis ethnic group. We will stop in Parepare to eat and continue the trip, we will make a stop to rest in front of the erotic mountain, we will enjoy the indescribable landscape while you drink a local coffee or tea.

In the afternoon we will arrive at the hotel.
We check in hotel and rest.

DAY 02. EXCURSION IN TORAJA
After breakfast we will visit the typical towns of Toraja such as the town of Lemo to see the niches in the rock where the dolls are on the balcony.
This is a special burial site for blue blood families.
We will visit the Sanggalla (Kambira) village, you will learn how babies are buried in the trunk of the "living tree". We will go to a typical house to see how the Torajas live.

We will also visit the Tampang Allo village. We will go to the small cave to see the ancient coffins and wooden dolls.
We will have lunch and continue our excursion visiting the town of Ketekesu, where we will see the old houses known as Tongkonan and are the symbol of the Toraja family community and return to our hotel.

DAY 03. TORAJA
We will leave the hotel heading towards the north of Tana Toraja and we will go up the mountain, but before arriving we will stop at the town of Bori to see the menirs and large niches.
We will continue visiting the town of Tinimbayo and Batutumonga with phenomenal viewpoints from which we can see the city of Rantepao.
We will have lunch and then we will go for a gentle walk to pass in front of truly wonderful landscapes.
We return to Rantepao and rest.
 
DAY 04. TREKKING - PALOPO WATERFALL
After breakfast we leave the hotel and go to Peta for a 2.5 hour trekking, we will climb the Peta mountain to enjoy the impressive view. We rest on Galumpang Hill for tea or coffee while viewing the city of Palopo from above. After this site we will go down the different route to reach the place where the driver is waiting for us to continue the trip to the Siguntu waterfall, where you will enjoy a restful and therapeutic bath in the waterfall. Then we will continue with the visit of Kambo Highland. And we will return to the hotel.

DAY 05. PALOPO -SENGKANG
After breakfast we will check out. And we will leave in the direction of Sengkang. Another time we will stop in front of the erotic mountain in the fantastic viewpoint to rest and drink coffee or tea.
We will continue on our way to the local restaurant in Sengkang where we will have lunch. After eating we will go to a river to take a canoe and walk around the lake where we will see the activities of the fishermen who live in the floating houses. We will enter one of the houses to discover how the local people live. Here people are very friendly and people always offer us fried plantain and tea. We enjoy the moment and we will see the sunset.
We return to the hotel.

DAY 06. SENGKANG - MACASSAR
After breakfast we will check out. And we will leave in the direction of Macassar.
On the way we will stop for something to eat at a local restaurant.
Upon arrival in Macassar we will go directly to the hotel to check in and in the afternoon we will go out to visit the Pantai Losari to see the sunset and the atmosphere of the city of Macassar, we will have dinner back at the hotel.

DAY 07. HIDDEN PARADISE RAMMANG-RAMMANG
In the morning after breakfast we will check out at the hotel and go out to visit the Rotterdam fort, a hidden paradise. We canoe through a river, we will see the beautiful landscapes.

We will return to the parking lot and continue to visit the prehistoric park in Leang-Leang. We will see the karstic stones, with beautiful and surprising shapes. We see the hieroglyphs on the wall of the cave. From Leang-leang we will go to Maros and eat in a restaurant. After the meal we will go directly to the airport or sea port.
