• The Alcazaba of Malaga of Spain was built in the 11th century AD during the rule of the Moorish Hammudid Dynasty. It is the best preserved Alcazaba (an Arabic word meaning “citadel”) in Spain and occupies a scenic and prominent point on a hill overlooking the Port of Malaga.
• One of the typical bars where we will sample traditional Spanish dessert wines.
• Merced Square (Plaza de la Merced) is one of the main squares of the Malaga city center and is the meeting place and center for many cultural events. It is the birthplace of Picasso and hosts the Museo Casa Natal Picasso Foundation. In the square, you will see the Obelisk dedicated to General Torrijos and the other martyrs of the 1831 uprising against the tyrannical rule of King Ferdinand VII.
